Who it's for
Ha Long suits you if you want to live in Vietnam for a month or longer: to work, to come with family, to understand the country from your own apartment.
For work, rest and life by the bay. A studio with a bay or city window — you can close the door and work.
Separate bedrooms and residence service. The city clinic is nearby; you can visit schools and kindergartens on site.
For living, not for a couple of days.
Ha Long Bay
A UNESCO site since 1994: limestone towers across 1,500 square kilometres of water. Living in Bai Chay, you head out into the bay on weekends and come back to the city for everyday life.
Limestone towers. There are more than 1,600 in the bay.
Karst towers rise from the water like walls. Some are closed to cruises, others are half an hour from Bai Chay.
UNESCO since 1994, extended in 2000. Thousands of islands and limestone cliffs right by the city.
A panoramic view of the bay from above. From Bai Chay that's an ordinary weekend.
Bay or city — your choice. The last frame was shot from the apartment window.
Bay and city
Everyone has seen the rocks of Ha Long. Over fifteen years Bai Chay was built up as the province's resort capital: bridges, boulevards, new districts, a clinic, shopping centres.
A serviced residence right by the water. For food, a doctor or Hanoi — like in any normal city.
Location
The capital of Quang Ninh province, northern Vietnam. The bay is a UNESCO site. For relocation the basics are already here: Bai Chay, the Halong Marina peninsula, the A-La-Carte complex on Peninsula 2, a clinic, shops, and Hanoi 2.5 hours away.
The new side of the bay: wide roads, the Bai Chay bridge, a promenade, hotels, an evening waterfront. Halong Marina is nearby. A resort shoreline. A serviced apartment with a view, month-to-month contract.
Vincom Plaza and Lotte Mart: food, pharmacy, electronics, cinema. Plus regular markets. Easy to walk with children and strollers.
A modern Vinmec clinic, pharmacies and labs in the city.
Live by the sea while staying connected to the capital. The road to Noi Bai airport is 2.5 hours; we arrange the transfer.
Less tourist noise. The quiet pace of life is one of Ha Long's main advantages: work in the morning, walk along the water in the evening. Want parties until dawn? Look south.
